The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests is presenting a two-month “Hike It Yourself” Autumn Adventure, running through Oct. 31. The popular “5 Hikes Challenge,” back for its third year, includes 28 unique and scenic walking or hiking destinations on Forest Society conservation land throughout New Hampshire. Participants choose five hikes to complete in the Aug. 31 to Oct. 31 time frame and they the opportunity to explore new corners of the state on more than 190 SPNHF-managed forest reservations across New Hampshire. With nearly 30 different hiking and walking destinations for all abilities, the “5 Hikes Challenge” is designed for anyone interested in reaching new places and exploring unsung natural destinations in various regions throughout New Hampshire.
